The canal and barges

Enjoy a luxury barge cruise with La Reine Pedauque and Saroche, or rent and crew your own self-drive boat. The canal has miles and miles of navigable waterways, heading south towards the river Saone and north to the Yonne.

Wine Exploration

With some of the most famous vineyards just across the hill and a few miles away, it makes good sense to use the Valley as a base for exploring the wine growing region. You'll find the prices of everything much cheaper, as the hotels of Beaune and Nuits Saint George can be expensive.

Cycling and walking

Whatever your level there are miles of country roards, paths and tracks for cyclists and hikers. Off road, gentle hills or steep climbs for hours and miles of bicycling. Forests and fields, rivers, streams and canal tow paths so that you can explore the countryside and take a real breath of fresh air.
