Description

The villages was built around the fortified castle Chateau of Commarin, with 639 hectres and a population of 144 a dozen kilometres from Sombernon.

To see and do...

The castle which has been in the same family for more than 800 years is open for visits although still occupied by the family De Vogue. There are many paths which lead into the nearby hills offering pleasant walks through the countryside. Try and take the small road to the village of La Bussiere sur Ouche, as it is very picturesque.

You can also enjoy a drink in the village café which offers a warm and friendly atmosphere.
