Th small village covers 717 lectres at 570 metres above sea-level for 138 people, on the left bank of the Ouche 6 kilometres south of Sombernon.
There are pretty country houses, one is at Charmoy with a bread oven and sun dial. Also to visit os the 19 centuy chrch, the clifss of "la Roche de l'eau" and the chapel of Sainte Anne in the hamlet of Vaux.
