To see and do...

La Bussiere is home to one of the regions most important Cistercian Abbeys, "Abbaye de la Bussiere" with a history dating back to 1030 A.D. The abbey continued to functon for hundreds of years until the early 1970's, when finaly the sisters who where then running the abbey had to leave. The Abbey is now closed to the public despite the huge funds give by the state for important renovation work.

In "La Forge" there are terraced gardens overlooking the canal. The old railway station. Take advantage of the canal tow-path and walk from lock 25 to lock 24 and continue to Veuvey sur Ouche.
